  • MAC Long Course
Congratulations to the swimmers that competed at the MAC LC Invite. We swam over 90% best times with 21 team records. Several of the records had two people under the old record. Several swims were first time swims and a couple of our kids swam their first long course meet ( Issac Ricker and Grayson Keene - both of which set team records ). Multiple A and B times were achieved by several kids. You can find the new records on this website and the best times and A/B times on the bulletin board. Great start to the long course season. I hope that more of you will be entering and swimming in future long course meets this summer.

What a great way to finish up our long course swimming in Oregon. Sydney Alamein, Taylor Hagedorn, Kaitlyn Landis and Lonny Stork all swam individual events, which I believe is a first for the team in long course. They all swam very well with Sydney setting the 100 fly team record in time trials and Taylor setting the 400 free ( which also included Lonny and Sydney going under the old record ). They combined to swim the 400 free relay which is the first in a very long time in an age group and not open. They set the open 400 free relay team record. Great job girls and way to do it together in practice and competition !!

A number of Blue Dolphins ventured down to Roseburg for their annual summer meet. We swam very well over all with several team records and a lot of best times. Led by Kaitlyn Landis, Sydney Alamein and Olivia Hale who all had best times in every event there were a ton of best time. Taylor Hagedorn joined the under 30 club with a 29.53 to lead off the relay. Team records were plentiful with Taylor setting the 11-12 500 free, Gentry Hagedorn with the 9-10 50 fly and 100 breast joining Sydney with two in the 11-12 200 free and 100 fly and Daniel Glade with six - 15-18 50 free, 100 free and 400 IM which also set records in the open group in the same events. Congrats to everyone that went down !!

Gentry Hagedorn represented the Blue Dolphins very well at the recent Championship meet in Beaverton at the THPR pool. She swam well in the short course meter pool, different than usual long course meter pool of the season, with three top 11 places in the 50 and 100 fly and 200 IM. Well done G !!
