  • 2019 Pumpkin Sprint Meet
The meet in Lincoln City went very well and we had some great races. Up and down the group swam a lot of best times (around 90% plus). We don't keep short course meter records, but the overall meet was a tremendous success. For the first time since I've been here as coach, we finished second in a meet with a large number of teams and 200 kids. Very well done to everyone. Congrats to Addley Condron for her "B" times this past weekend.

  • 2019 AAA Turkey Dive Invitational
Highlighted by Gentry Hagedorn and Grayson Keene winning turkeys in the after meet part of the 2019 AAA Turkey Dive Invitational, we swam pretty well overall. Two new team records (Taylor Hagedorn 15-18 400 IM and Sydney Alamein 13-14 200 back) and several new "A" and "B" times. More importantly than the times, we swam with great character and our hard work showed. Really proud of our kids and parents who stepped up and helped the meet run smoothly. Great job across the board and great improvement by our team. Check the new additions on this site and the bulletin board.

  • 2019 BDST Halloween Invitational
After our first meet of the short course season, we are showing the hard work by so many is paying off. Congratulations to Grayson Keene for breaking the team record in the 50 back and moving up the top 5 lists in the others. He also got an 'A' time in the back and was joined by Sydney Alamein who had two 'A' times. Five others got 'B' times as well. Several kids swam their first meets and they did a great job. Much to look forward to this season.

  • 2019 Seahorse Invitational
In the last meet of the season, the Blue Dolphins Swim Team swam at the Seahorse Invite in Newport. The highlight was the bonfire on the beach on Saturday night, but we had some great swims. The meet began with Brooke Colachico dropping 43 seconds in the 500 followed by Madison Hanson dropping 35 and Kaitlyn Landis dropping 14 in hers. Madison had best times in every event and dropped over 95 seconds total. It was a great time for everyone that competed. Great way to end the season and a lot of fun!

  • 2019 OSI Long Course Championships
Gentry Hagedorn, Taylor Hagedorn, Lonny Stork, Kaitlyn Landis and Sydney Alamein swam at Mt. Hood Community College at the 2019 OSI Arena 11 & Over Long Course State Championships. The girls swam nearly 70% best times and several new team records. We started with a new team record in the Open 800 Free Relay (Sydney, Kaitlyn, Lonny and Taylor) and finished with a flourish in the 1500 free where Sydney, Taylor and Kaitlyn dropped nearly a minute and more finishing with great placings (14 year olds Sydney - 8th, Taylor - 9th and 13-year-old Kaitlyn - 10th). Records were (Sydney - 13-14 and Open 200 IM, Taylor - 13-14 and open 100 fly and 400 IM, Gentry - 50 fly). It was a great weekend that other Blue Dolphins will make a goal and do the work to try and get here.
