Recent Announcements

  • Team Returns to Competition for First Time Since March
For the first time since the start of the global pandemic, the Blue Dolphins Swim Team returned to the water for the first time since March hosting an Inter Squad Meet Saturday, October 10, at the Dallas Aquatic Center.

The kids swam with a lot of drive and there were many great times. Check the results I have attached and see many 10 plus seconds improvement. Many new events were done which is always a great thing to see. Special shout outs to Gentry and Vasili who officially broke a minute for the first time in the 100 free. You may note that best times fell off toward the end but when they swim 4 events in a bit over an hour it's expected.

Thanks for the well wishes from so many of you and I hope to return to coaching in the next few weeks.

  • 2020 OSI 11-14 Age Group Championships
The Blue Dolphins at 11-14 champs in Corvallis swam very well. Our 800 free relay (Lonny Stork, Gentry Hagedorn, Kaitlyn Landis, and Sydney Alamein) set a new open record of 8:30.65. Gentry had a best time in her 100 fly. Kaitlyn swam well through her hip injury to just miss her best times in her 500 and 1650 free. Very gutsy effort on her part. I hope others will follow in that commitment!! Lonny was 3 of 5 best times (500 free - 11 second drop, 2 and 400 IMs). Just missed a best time in her 200 back by 1 one hundredth. Very good weekend for her. Sydney was 4 of 6 best times (500 free, 100 fly, 200 free and 400 IM). She set records in 13-14 100 fly, 400 IM, 200 free - going under 2 minutes for the first time ) and open 100 fly. Well done to everyone and thanks to Hugh Genualdi and Matt Beasley for officiating. Thanks to all that timed. We were well recognized through every level of the meet.
